Privacy Policy

Musefire (“Musefire” or “we”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users of Letscappella and websites. We have prepared this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to describe our practices regarding the Personal Data (as defined below) that we collect from users of Letscappella and websites (collectively, the “Site”) and online services (the “Services”). This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control.

By using our Site and our Services you understand and agree to the terms of this Policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, do not install, use, or access our Site or our Services. We may update this policy from time to time and will post updates to this policy on this web page, including the policy's effective date.

This Policy supplements the Musefire Terms and Conditions, and is made a part of the Agreement between Musefire and its Users. It applies to Letscappella and Websites operated by Musefire or its affiliated companies.

Data Collection and Use

“Personal Data” means data that you submit when you open your user account, which allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, email address, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data, including musical content that you create using our Site and our Services (“Content”).

“Aggregate Data” means Personal Data that has been combined by or for Musefire into anonymous groups of users where the groups are large enough to reasonably prevent individual users from being identified (e.g., display of Username when submitting publication). Please be reminded that any information disclosed in this way (including Personal Account Data you choose to make available in this way) becomes public information. You should exercise great care when deciding to disclose your Personal Data and information in a public forum.

“Anonymous Data” is Personal Data that has been anonymized by or for Musefire so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual. It includes server log information, or other similar technical information. Server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. The nature and amount of Anonymous Information may change over time, as a result of changes in technology, Services, etc.

This data collection is used to assist us in managing the website, track the usage and improve our services. We will not pass any information to third-parties.

Information Collection

a.      Basic account information

In order to register for a Letscappella account on the Site, you are required to provide Musefire with certain Personal Data, such as your email address, username and password. Your nickname is listed publicly on the Services, including in search results.

b.      Additional profile information

You may also choose to provide Musefire with additional Personal Data for your profile, which we will make public (your “Public Profile”), such as a picture and an additional description about yourself. The information that you provide in your Public Profile will be visible to others, including anonymous visitors to the Site.

c.       Information from third party social network accounts

If you sign into the Site with a third party social network, i.e. Facebook, we will collect any information that you have agreed to make available to Musefire through such account, which may include: (1) your first and last name, (2) your user ID/URL, (3) your profile picture, and/or (4) your email address. This information will be primarily used for user registration and to enhance your social experience on the Site, which may include friend-to-friend interaction and notifications and other similar features.

d.      Publication, following and other public information

Musefire's Services are designed to help you create and share music. Most of the information you provide Musefire is information you are asking Musefire to make public. This includes the Publication you create and the metadata associated with it, such as when you created it, the people you follow, the songs you sing or share, and your comments on Publication provided by other users. We will associate this information with your Personal Data. When you share information or Publication via the Site or the Services, you should think carefully about what you are making public.

Disclosure of Personally-Identifying Information

Musefire does not rent or sell any of your personally-identifying information it collects to anyone. Musefire does disclose potentially personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that need to know that information in order to process it on Musefire’s behalf, and have agreed not to disclose it. Other than its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, Musefire will only disclose personally-identifying information when required to do so by law or when Musefire believes in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to protect the rights or property of Musefire, urgent circumstances to protect the safety of users of its App and the Website or the public, or to protect against legal liability.

Privacy Policy Changes

Musefire may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at Musefire’s sole discretion. Musefire encourages Users to check this Policy for any changes periodically. Your continued use of any App created by Musefire and the Website will constitute acceptance of such change.
